Enjoy Danang Festival 2026 Officially Kicks Off
The Enjoy Danang Festival 2026 officially opened on July 23 at East Sea Park (Công viên Biển Đông), kicking off five days of cultural celebrations, sporting events, entertainment, and tourism activities across Da Nang. Running from July 22 to July 26, the annual festival aims to showcase the city's vibrant coastal lifestyle while giving both locals and visitors new ways to experience one of Vietnam's leading beach destinations.
Da Nang Continues to Strengthen Its Position as a Festival Destination
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that 2026 has continued to see strong growth for the city's tourism industry, supported by a year-round calendar of festivals and major events.
According to city officials, Da Nang is steadily establishing itself as one of the region's leading destinations for festivals, cultural events, and leisure travel. These events not only attract visitors but also contribute to economic growth while strengthening the city's reputation on both domestic and international tourism maps.
"Da Nang – Return to the Original"
This year's festival is held under the theme "Da Nang – Return to the Original," encouraging visitors to reconnect with the city's authentic beauty through its beaches, landscapes, culture, and people.
Rather than focusing solely on entertainment, the festival highlights the peaceful rhythm of coastal life, the city's long stretches of sandy beaches, and the warm hospitality that has become one of Da Nang's defining characteristics.
The opening night featured an immersive live performance combining music, dance, theatrical storytelling, lighting effects, and modern stage technology to celebrate the city's identity in a visually spectacular way.
Bringing Da Nang's Coastline to Life
Several new attractions have been introduced for this year's edition, giving visitors even more reasons to explore the city's coastline.
One of the highlights is the Traditional Countryside Food Market at East Sea Park, where visitors can sample authentic Quang-style cuisine while discovering local handicrafts and village culture. Along the beachfront, the Enjoy Da Nang Coastal Walk transforms the shoreline into an open-air art space filled with creative installations and interactive experiences.
As night falls, the beach comes alive with the Light Kite Night, featuring around 500 illuminated kites flying above the coastline, while the Beach Light Party combines artistic lighting displays, live music, and local culinary experiences to create a lively evening atmosphere.

In addition to concerts and performances, the festival offers numerous activities that allow travelers to experience the city's natural and cultural heritage.
Guests can join local fishermen at the Man Thai Beach fish market before sunrise, participate in meditation sessions at Linh Ung Pagoda, enjoy sunrise yoga by the sea, or explore the rich biodiversity of the Son Tra Peninsula. Evening cultural performances and beachfront EDM events provide entertainment well into the night.
